How NASA’s Katherine Johnson Had the Right Stuff to Win the Space Race


Astronaut Joh Glenn, the first American to orbit the Earth, called on Katherine Johnson to recheck the trajectory of his orbit that had been calculated by NASA's then state-of-the-art computers.
