I made them for a lesson with a group of Year 5 students from local feeders. I think there is enough scope within the idea to take it further. You could also go to other magic letters. Magic Ws are listed as Stage 5. ps, not sure how UK stages align with NSW stages.
have you used these? what age are they for? I notice on nrich it says stage 2.
