This Assessment Task consists of two parts, an Investigative Task (20% of weighting) and an In-class Validation (10% of weighting), under test conditions. At this stage, only the task is attached. I changed Q14 and Q20-23 so that each student in the class had different questions to address in these sections.
The In-class Validation will be 25 minutes in length and will consist of questions similar to the Investigation.
The Task will focus the topic Combinatorics:
A1.1 – Permutations and combinations
A1.2 – The binomial expansion and Pascal’s triangle

Thanks for putting this up. It gives us a good indication of the style of investigative tasks being issued in other schools
