Manipulative, Video, Worksheet - Print

An introduction to trigonometry. A short video shows how trig is used at airports to ensure the safe landing of airplanes. Using an interactive component, students explore the use of the trigonometric ratios: sine, cosine, and tangent. This manipulative first guides students to label the sides of triangles as hypotentuse, adjacent and opposite for different reference angles, and secondly, to form trig ratios. A trigonometry print activity is included.
