Interactive - This interactive mathematics resource allows students to explore the pictorial, symbolic, and concrete representations of fractions. Proper and improper fractions, as well as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions are also investigated. The resource includes print activities, solutions, learning strategies, and a Smoothie Machine game.
Video - Fractions are explored in this multimedia mathematics resource. A video illustrates how math is used every day in hotels and restaurants. Using an interactive activity, students explore improper, mixed, and equivalent fractions by using measuring cups to obtain a target fraction. A fractions print activity is included.
