Polygraph: Parabolas
Publisher, Desmos, Terminology, Vocabulary, Desmos, Glossary/Dictionary
Think of the classic Guess Who game, but the students are trying to identify the parabola, instead of a person. This Desmos activity is great for building a student's vocabulary such as axis of symmetry, vertex, concave up, concave down. An excellent NSW Stage 5.3 activity which can be easily completed remotely. Students are paired off on the computer to play and the teacher can watch the questions being asked all on one dashboard.
